Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc. is the parent company of the Checkers and Rally's quick-service drive-thru hamburger chains in the United States. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, it operates and franchises roughly 800 double drive-thru restaurants known for burgers, seasoned fries and value pricing. Checkers was founded in Mobile, Alabama in 1986 and merged with Louisville-based Rally's (founded 1985) in 1999.
